MIRI (JAN 6): Team building activities are a great way to foster camaraderie and improve communication among team members. On 6th January 2024, USW Holdings Sdn Bhd organized an exciting team-building event at the scenic Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort in Miri, Sarawak. The activities planned for the day aimed to challenge the employees physically and mentally while encouraging collaboration and teamwork. 

One of the highlights of the event was the scavenger hunt. Teams were formed and given a list of tasks that led them to different locations within the resort. The teams had to work together and brainstorming on ways to complete the listed tasks. This activity not only tested their problem-solving skills but also encouraged communication and cooperation.

Another thrilling activity was blind boating. In this challenge, team members were blindfolded and had to navigate through a water course, relying solely on the instructions given by their teammates. This exercise required trust, effective communication, and the ability to follow directions. It was a memorable experience that pushed individuals out of their comfort zones and allowed them to rely on their colleagues for guidance and support.

Other team building activities conducted are Mummy Race, team building game called Snake, and Tarantula.

USW Holdings Sdn Bhd recognizes the importance of investing in team building activities as they play a crucial role in developing a positive and harmonious work atmosphere.
